Rules & Regulations
The following rules have been established for your and other campers’ comfort, and it is your responsibility as a guest to be aware of them. These apply within the campsite area:
Marstrands Family Camping is an SCR-affiliated campsite.
A valid residential address and identification are required to stay at SCR-affiliated campsites.
Marstrands Family Camping is a family-friendly site with a minimum age requirement of 25 years (exceptions can be made for families). In other groups, at least two people must be 25 years old.
Check-in at the reception upon arrival. Notify the reception immediately if you bring extra tents, boats, etc.
Upon check-in, a valid Camping Key Europe must be presented. If you do not have one, the reception can renew an old card or issue a new one.
Fees: See the separate price list.
Temporary visitors must register at the reception and park their vehicle in the designated parking area outside the campsite.
All Swedish vehicles must be roadworthy, taxed, and at least third-party insured. Caravans must be registered and not subject to a driving ban unless otherwise agreed.
Only one car per campsite/cabin is allowed. Motor vehicle traffic is only permitted between the entrance and your designated camping spot.
Show respect for others. Disruptive behavior is not allowed. Limit unnecessary driving and always drive at walking speed. Quiet hours are between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Music should not be played at a volume that disturbs neighbors, even during the day.
The campsite host and staff are responsible for maintaining order and assisting with any issues.
All standard tent equipment is allowed, but permanent tent structures are prohibited.
Permanent installations such as fences and barriers around tents or caravans are not allowed without special permission. Contact the reception if you are unsure.
Ensure that all gas and electrical equipment is inspected and approved according to current regulations.
Car washing is not permitted within the campsite.
It is prohibited to allow unauthorized guests to enter using your personal access card.
Diesel generators are not allowed.
Guests may not sublet or rent out their camping spot to others.
Weapons, fireworks, bows, darts, and similar items are strictly prohibited.
Help children find suitable play areas. Most campsites have dedicated playgrounds and ball fields. Playing with balls among tents and caravans is not allowed.
Dog owners must show the utmost consideration for other guests. Dogs must be kept on a short leash, exercised in designated areas or outside the campsite, and owners must clean up after them.
Sales and commercial activities within or near the campsite require management approval.
Keep the campsite clean. Please use the waste bins provided within the area.
Leave shared facilities (toilets, laundry and shower rooms, kitchens, and dishwashing areas) clean for the next guest.
Smoking is prohibited in all cabins and shared spaces. Pets are not allowed in certain cabins or shared facilities. A minimum cleaning fee of 3,000 SEK applies if these rules are violated.
Check-out: Unless otherwise agreed, campsite pitches must be vacated by 12:00 PM on the departure day. For cabins, check-out is also at 12:00 PM. Failure to check out on time may result in additional fees.
The campsite host and staff are not responsible for loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings. Guests may be held liable for any damage to buildings, property, or other guests’ possessions.
While most guests are respectful, the campsite staff reserves the right to take action against disruptive guests. Campers who behave inappropriately may be removed, and their camping card may be blocked.
Respect nature – it needs your care.
All camping units (caravans, motorhomes, tents, and awnings) must be placed according to fire safety regulations issued by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. Guests must comply with any requests to reposition their camping unit. Failure to do so may result in removal from the campsite.
Disposable grills are not allowed. All grills must be at least 30 cm above the ground.
Charging electric vehicles is strictly prohibited using the campsite’s electrical outlets.
